The White Flower Valley Railway

16mm Narrow gauge fun in the garden.

Follow the travels of Mini Stacey on his epic world tour here

If you want to see these photo’s as a slide show check out the photo album page. I have now decided to add the new photo's to the top of the page so no need to scroll down any more!

Whilst at Mike Edwa Llantfel Railway, they were shown around by Lord Penrhyn himself in his private saloon - although he didn't actually deign to get out and get caught in the photoshoots!  "Charles" was the motive power.    However, because the visit followed closely on the railway's annual staff holiday, parts of the line had got somewhat overgrown - rather reminiscent of photos of the Festiniog in the early 1950s!

It’s been a while since I updated the MS page so here is Dignity and impudence recreated on the Rhos Helyg Locomotive works test line in N Wales where full size Stace spent a very pleasant evening!

Mini Stacey and Mini Alan visited the Stafford Model & District Engineers track today. It was bitterly cold in the morning and then the snow started at mid day. MS and MA checked the snowplough was ready for action as the first small flakes of snow fell on the station platform.

Here is the first pic from the BBLR. MS and MA sample the budget rolling stock* hauled by Wild Rose past the decaying engine shed.
After this they had a look at two DeWintons - more to follow.
* plywood from an old wardrobe, cable clips for axle boxes, wheels from end caps of cable reels.

MS & MA got taken to Keith Browns' new line to assit with testing.

After last seeing Colin Binnie at Raif Coplye's line in june last year they meet again to enjoying the delights of Sean Cullen's industrial decreptitude

MS & MA wating for a train, I think the dog may be hoping MA has a treat in his apron pocket! (Our first black and white submision and I love it!)
